Delete your data
You can disconnect Instagram or Shopify, or delete your TacTech account without contacting support.
Disconnect Shopify
- Sign in to TacTech Catalog Studio.
- Open the Account page.
- In the Shopify section, select Disconnect.
Disconnecting removes the store details and encrypted Shopify OAuth tokens stored by TacTech. Existing Shopify product drafts are not deleted. TacTech also removes the stored connection when Shopify sends a verified uninstall or shop-redaction webhook.
Disconnect Instagram
- Sign in to TacTech Catalog Studio.
- Open the Account page.
- In the Instagram section, select Disconnect.
Disconnecting removes the stored Instagram account details and encrypted access token from TacTech. It does not delete posts already published on Instagram.
Delete your TacTech account
- Sign in and open the Account page.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
Account deletion removes the TacTech account, active sessions, connected Instagram and Shopify authorization, saved drafts, and associated publication records. Security logs that must be retained for fraud prevention or legal compliance are deleted or de-identified when their retention period ends.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email hanyu01@tactechs.net from the address used for your TacTech account. Include the Instagram username or Shopify store domain, if applicable. TacTech will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Remove TacTech from Instagram
You may also remove TacTech from the connected-app settings in Instagram or Meta Accounts Center. Meta can notify TacTech through its signed data deletion callback, and TacTech will remove the matching stored connection.
